This DOES NOT have to do with asian culture, and I KNOW people will complain about it but i’m involved in a whole other community of life with Second Life. I work for Simplicity designs, which IS NOT A MODELING AGENCY.

Synthetyc Summers has brought on so many models and i want to say that we’ve all who’ve wanted to have GRADUATED from out Gothic Fashion classes. (We still have a wedding set to do XD)

I wish to tell you now, i am one of many that have graduated and am WALKING PROUDLY through HELLFIRE AND BRIMSTONE UPS AND DOWNS that a family will go through. Simplicity is my online family, if you knew the shit we get up to behind the scenes you’d just laugh.

I don’t CARE how much stress we’re all under, simplicity is one of the BEST places to work for. This isn’t about the free clothes. This isn’t about the exposure… I got in on this for the fun of it, i never expected to graduate and ACTUALLY walk on saturday.

I want to reiterate when this fashion walk is: On May 9th @ 6 PM SLT – The Simplicity Modeling Team will take the runaway and show off the hottest new creations in the Gothic Community.

MODELING IN REAL LIFE is not the SAME as SL… PLEASE STOP THE FREAKING CATTY BITCHY SHIT.

TO ALL OF YOU WHO ARE STILL WORKING FOR SIMPLICITY I FREAKING LOVE YOU ALL EVEN WHEN WE ARE ALL STRESSED I JUST WANNA SAY WE ARE FAMILY AND WE WILL STICK TOGETHER THROUGH THICK AND FREAKING THIN! (Yes, that means you kramer… it seems mom has stolen you and somehow i wonder if that means you’re either now my gay stepdad or my gay older brother <.< lol mom said gay step mistress XDDDD)

We use griefers at each other for fun, we take photos of each other when we’re doing stupid crap. We cry when crap goes wrong, and we crab at each other when shit goes wrong… BUT THIS PAGE?

SYNTHETYC SUMMERS DOES NOT DESERVE THAT.

Get a life whoever wrote that, her photography, her makeovers work – and her training works. We tip her because we think she’s worth it. We don’t always tip her big bucks (Sorry syn!) but when we can afford it we’ll slip her a few hundred for her efforts or more.

Oshare Curry » Second Life Introduction

Hi there, Reiko here.
I wanted to introduce you to an interesting piece of software that is  very much a niche or small market for visual asian culture.   It’s a passion of mine to tie Visual Asian culture and Second Life together,  a very HUGE task and a very expensive task.   Second life is a 3d vitrual environment – just that a SECOND LIFE.   There are so many avenues to view that are related to any aspects of visual asian culture. 

 What is second life you ask?  (From the wikipedia entry on Second Life)
Second Life (SL) is a virtual world developed by Linden Lab that launched on June 23, 2003 and is accessible via the Internet. A free client program called the Second Life Viewer enables its users, called Residents, to interact with each other through avatars. Residents can explore, meet other residents, socialize, participate in individual and group activities, and create and trade virtual property and services with one another, or travel throughout the world, which residents refer to as the grid. Second Life caters for users aged over eighteen, while its sister site Teen Second Life is reserved to users aged between thirteen and seventeen. 

There has been indeed much in the way of progress in this.  The problem is that not enough of you who like this sort of stuff know about Second Life (or do and don’t have a computer that can run it.).   To explain this a bit more i’d need photos, but for now i’ll just sort of introduce you to it.

I want to start off by saying: Second Life is not all about porn, sex and strippers.  

There are markets for us, we have people (like me lol) who have done things that are interesting enough to clasp into the minds of people like you who are wanting this.  To explain this further i’ll actually start mentioning places to search for and what they’re like.

First off, talk to me – i used to run a nightclub dedicated to japanese culture and music.  It was once called “Shinsengumi HQ” with the Makoto kanji in throe with this as well.  We used to have weekly parties, and while it was not a profitable business it was fun – it was interesting and i miss it.

There was I DONT know if it’s still there – but there was a shinsengumi SIM with people actually cosplaying as the shinsengumi.  That being said, i still have a costume in my inventory, and so does MangakaRob.   

There are many sims offering retail shops with neo-punk, or even gorey goth japanese designs.  These are like the very oddball neo-futuristic metallic outfits that fit with weird stuff lol.  But i love the fashion anyways, DISCORD is a japanese designer (not to be confused with the hair/eyes manufacturer of the same name) with some great fashions.  There are also retail places offering CHEONGSAMS,  Korean hanboks, Japanese kimonos and even Yukatas.  There is cosplay retail shops… i’ve myself got haruhi suzumiya, and some death note cosplay. 

Even more so, there are a few Djs around willing to play JAPANESE OR VISUAL ASIAN MUSIC. I myself am one, but require more cashflow lol .. to run the idea and do it well 🙂 Do look for Dorn Hazlitt,  DJ DORN has been faithful to the JROCK scene on Second Life – and has always snuck in some great music. 

Xstreetsl.com is an online retail shopping outlet for Avatars IN WORLD,  IN REAL WORLD lol.. it means you use the web to shop for your in world items.  This place i’ve seen things like SAILOR MOON COSPLAY ( The images looked really good too!).. and way more other cosplay items.  Once i saw a japanese baseball uniform.

There is just so much more to look for.

If you want to see more, keep looking out – because i’ll have photos and then after that i’ll have a list of SLURLS (Second Life URLS) for you to follow in world for your own visual asian field trip!

No, this man or guy.. or boy never died. He never existed, well he did and he didnt. There was a person typing to many of us, and of course on SL he was also named Taka Terezke. As fake as this idea could be of the man that was Takayoshi Shiba, he came in and sparkled his way through with his grandeuristic views on life. Reassured some of us that life isn’t all that dull, and there are people out there you can live your life for.

Somehow, it’s just … yea, not always meant to be!
So, yea.. it’d be nice to see this guy own up 😛

So yea, i made this and i really worked hard at it.. and i will be trying to decide how to redo this website. Luckily i have time left on the domain, and if it doesnt work out i can always let it flow out.

But Mochiro’s name is weird.. what does it mean?
It’s a take off of two things, first thing “mochi” meaning rice cake and “Ro” from Tensei’s real name, and the R and O from Reiko.
second thing, it’s Mochiron without the ending N… which funny enough means of course, certainley and naturally. Naturally, of course we’re certain we’re going to make fantabulous works of art for you!

Also it’s a company comprising of my lame clothing design…
and my attempts to follow Moira Goode around as an aspiring yet stranger than ficiton model. While moira is a great, classic look model.. i strive to be very strange 😛
